While the side trailed by two points heading into the main break, they were able to fight hard in the second half to come away with a 14-point win.
Four goals from Melinda Fosci and one from Amy Preston was enough to see the Swans come away with the 4.7 (31) to 2.5 (17) win.
Coach Trevor Richards was impressed by how quickly the girls were able to adapt to the game with many playing for the first time.
“I think the girls really enjoyed themselves,” he said.
“It was a bit slow to start, most of the girls had never really played footy. They really ripped in and had a fair crack.
“There effort and intensity was sensational.”
The girls have the bye this week before playing a home game at Exies Oval up against fellow round one winners the Riverina Lions.
