A western Riverina man is facing a staggering 14 charges after he allegedly pointed a rifle at two women during an argument late last week.

Police say that a group of people were at a Molesworth Street, Hillston home around 9am on Australia Day when an argument broke out.
Then, police say, it turned frightening, when a 27-year-old man allegedly picked up a rifle an pointed it at two women, aged 22 and 25.
The 25-year-old managed to disarm the man, who then picked up another weapon.
The woman was allegedly struck, sustaining a minor laceration.
Shortly after, the man left the house and went to the Hillston hospital for treatment of an injury he received in the chaos.
Griffith local area command officers arrested the man at the hospital around 9am on Sunday after receiving reports of the incident.
A search warrant then executed at a Gratton Street, Hillston home allegedly uncovered six guns, a hydroponic set-up and chemicals capable of being used to manufacture explosives.
The 27-year-old man was charged at Griffith police station and will be behind bars until his next court day on February 21 after being refused bail on Monday.
He will answer 14 charges, including three counts not keeping a firearm safely, two counts of possessing an unregistered firearm and one each of possessing a loaded firearm to endanger life, common assault, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intimidation and cultivating a prohibited plant.
He was also charged with possessing ammunition while not authorised, handling a firearm under the influence of alcohol/drugs, handle explosive/precursor without authorising licence and deemed supply of prohibited drug.
