It was a lucky escape for Griffith last weekend when they took a five-run win over Young after only scoring 100 batting first which made them the first team to be able to defend the cup this season.
Griffith will be without the services of regular captain and last week’s top scorer Haydn Pascoe but they will welcome back young gun Dean Bennett, and after picking up a knock before last week’s game, Jamie Winkler will also line up.
The absence of Pascoe means Tucker will lead the side into battle on Sunday after he successfully led the side to victory over Cootamundra two weeks ago on a scorching weekend when temperatures were in the high 40s.
Conditions will be warm again on Sunday with forecasts predicting a maximum of 43 to great the players when the taken the field at Exies at 10.30am.
