It has been a very busy year for the karters this year, so the meeting was a great way to wind down.William Garner and Ky Young compete in the KA4 junior class which had the the biggest field of the day with 14 karters.
With the torrential downpour which hit the area on Saturday and cold conditions, Sunday morning the track was very slippery, and it took the boys a few laps to get a grip on the conditions.
Ky and William both stepped up to juniors halfway through this season and have been going very well. But with a few engine problems, it wasn't Ky’s weekend and finished well down in the placings.
William drove really well all day but struggling with grip and a slight mishap by the mechanic in the final he also finished down in the placings. But with some more practise and tuning in the offseason, the boys will be ones to watch next season.
Blake Snaidero competes in the TAG 125 medium class in his X30 powered kart. Blake has raced well all season and has finished on the podium at most of his outings, and with this being no different, Blake drove well all day finished 3rd overall in his class which capped off an excellent year for him.
