Griffith City Library has teamed up with Carevan and the Griffith Community Centre to collect donations of non-perishable and personal care items to be distributed to local families in need this Christmas.

Items such as canned food, pasta, sauces etc, as well as personal care products such as soap, toothpaste, shampoo etc will be greatly accepted.
“We welcome your contributions but just ask that you don’t bring fresh fruit or anything that can go off,” Griffith City Library’s Rina Cannon said.
Donations can be dropped off to the Griffith City Library Giving Tree and will be distributed by Carevan this Christmas.

Christmas Baby Bounce – the popular parents and bubs session of singing and dancing to nursery rhymes will be happy their festive season party at 10 am, Tuesday December 19
Christmas Storytime – Navidad themed stories, songs and crafts plus a special visit from Santa Claus at 11am Friday December 22.
Santa’s mailbox is also open, where children can write their Christmas list and post the letters to the North Pole at the library.
Please include your return address so Santa can reply. Mail will be accepted up until Saturday December 16.
