Visitors can make the most of the summer evening by browsing a selection of locally made crafts and fabulous gift ideas in the pop up gift shop, while being entertained by the wonderful Genevieve Chadwick.
The event will be offering great local food and wine, but more so an opportunity for an early Christmas shop, according to Griffith Regional Art Gallery manager Raina Savage.
“Everyone loves to receive beautifully crafted, hand made gifts, and with so many wonderful local artists in the area we wanted to bring them together to give our customers the chance to purchase a unique, locally made, artisan piece in time for Christmas,” Ms Savage said.
”We are really spoilt for choice with all the quality craftspeople in the area.
“We have beautiful silver jewellery by Kristy-Lee Agresta, Laura Fitzpatrick and many other jewelers.
“There are felted vessels by Jess Forster, gorgeous handmade soaps from Tullac Cottage, concrete pots and succulents by Ang Brown, incredible hand carved wooden bangles by Dirk Hoogland and much more!
“You are sure to be able to find that unique, personal gift with everything on offer.”
Got the kids in tow? No problem! - the friendly staff from Griffith Regional Gallery will keep them entertained with face painting, art activities and a sausage sizzle while you check out the giftware, drink in hand.
Visitors will also have the chance to check out artworks by this year’s HSC students in our final exhibition, and there will also be a ‘Pre-loved Rack Sale’ market outside, coordinated by Lara Murray, as part of a ‘war-on- waste’ initiative.
The art gallery is also offering residents to opportunity to run their own stalls and sell pre-loved or vintage clothes.
“We invite everyone to come along for a fun and fabulous end of year celebration, and support our local artists and craftspeople by taking home some gorgeous Christmas gifts,” Ms Savage said.
