Helen Dalton has confirmed that she’ll be back for a 2019 election run at her concession speech in Griffith on Monday.

Despite the loss, Mrs Dalton says that she’ll be back.
With the next state election slated for 2019, she’s promised to hold Mr Evans and the National Party to account.
“I’ll have a lot to say. I’ll be looking at what the Nats are doing and commenting, if I’m given the opportunity… If they don’t deliver I’ll be after them,” she said.
The Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party lost out to the Nationals in the Murray by-election with 31 per cent of first preference votes to the National’s 39 per cent.
On a two-party preferred basis, National’s candidate Austin Evans beat Mrs Dalton 53 per cent to 47 per cent.

Though they may have lost the election, she said they have succeeded in establishing themselves as a presence in Murray.
“The Shooters, Fishers and Farmers didn’t have a presence in this electorate. Now they do,” she said.
“I will continue to build the brand and be the voice of common sense and reason throughout rural NSW.”
A 2019 run would be Mrs Dalton’s third.
She also took the time to thank everyone involved in her campaign over the last few weeks.
“All of the voters, supporters and believers in me, I truly thank them.”
