Committee member Chris Velis said it was a great chance for the club to thank the businesses around Griffith who helped bring the club back into the position it is now in holding both the under 18s and first-grade premiership.
“Without our sponsors, we would have been finished,” he said.
“Owen Toyota especially they have been great support for us over the last few years, and we are confident that is going to continue.”
Velis has confidence in his club’s ability to continue their move forward with the level of depth currently at the club.
“We are ecstatic, it has been a fantastic season for our club,” he said.
“We have some good young talent coming through the lower grades, and we are hoping to build on that and have another successful season next year.”
The trophies will move around all of the Black and Whites’ major sponsors as a token of thanks and will be on display for a fortnight at a time.
They (Owen Toyota) have been great support for us over the last few years and we are confident that is going to continue.
