Around 180 breakfasts and coffees sold, raising funds to help raise awareness and reduce stigma surrounding mental illnesses.
Committee Ambassador for R U OK Karen Snaidero was thrilled at the support shown from the community.
“Originally our idea was to get people talking and out into the community to raise awareness about how important it is to ask ‘are you OK’,” Ms Snaidero said.
“Each year we have seen the community get together and talk about their stories and their experiences with not being OK.”

Ms Snaidero said their fifth breakfast was fortunate enough to be a beautiful, relaxed morning, perfect to have supportive and non-judgmental conversations.
“Its events like these, all around the country, that help to reduce the stigma around mental illness.”
Funds raised from the event will go towards R U OK “conversation corners” in schools, as well as to R U OK for continued awareness and suicide prevention.
