In a turnaround, it was the Roosters who started the game the stronger. The visiting side scored the first four tries before the Sharks made any impression on the scoreboard.
The Sharks were down 24-6, but they didn’t let their heads drop even after the Roosters scored against through Tony Leadbeater. The fightback started their with Robert Simpson scoring it started a landslide in the Sharks favour.
Jarrad Williams, Jaden Kelly and a Keanau Wighton double helped the Sharks take the lead despite the efforts of Ryan McGoldrick who kicked a field goal to try and swing the momentum.
The Sharks would go on to hold the lead and take second spot jumping ahead of Yanco Wamoon.
