After spending five days on the range, the pair were able to walk away with what could be a first for the competition.
“They are having a look back through the record books to see if a father and daughter have actually ever done it before,” Darren said.
“We don't do it for records; we do it because we love doing it and we had a great time down there.”

The pair were in South Australia competing for the NSW State Shooting team which Jacinta, who was apart of the F Open team took out.
Darren felt the competitions being close together lead to a challenging Queens event.
“It was hard all the best shots from all over Australia were there,” he said.
“It only came down to a few points in the end.”
In at times quite difficult conditions Darren took out the Queens, the lead-up event and the Grand Aggregate while Jacinta finished second in the lead-up event and won the Grand Aggregate and Queens.
“I won the hunt (lead-up event) comfortably by quite a few points,” he said.
The Queens was a bit tighter and it came down to pretty much the last range on the last day and I just got it done.”
It was the first Jacinta shot the .308 after spending time shooting with the .223 when conditions were more forgiving.
“There are some really good comments on the forums and things like that from guys that watched her shoot and everything during the week,” he said.
“They are all pretty stoked with her actually because someone so young and so little doing it and doing a good job and they are all pretty impressed.
“At a lot of the ranges she had some better scores than I did and even beat some fairly high credentialed shooters with gear that is supposedly better than a .308 but she went really well.
The pair will know use local events to practices for their next target, the ACT Queens later in the year.
