Griffith police were called to the house fire around 5.30am where they saw the house was well alight and the Rural Fire Service and Fire and Rescue attempt to extinguish the blaze.
The fire was brought under control however the property was destroyed.
No one was home and no injuries were reported.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is being conducted.

GRIFFITH Police were called to deal with multiple reports of malicious damage on Monday.
A garbage bin was upturned outside a MacArthur Street residence between 9.45pm and 9.50pm on March 20.
The occupant heard knocking at the front of the house before the bin was thrown at the front of the house causing a window to break.

A further example of malicious damage occurred in Hillston on the same day.
Between 9am and 12pm on Monday, March 20, paint was thrown over the windscreen and bonnet of a Toyota Corolla in Loughnan Street.

Police have issued a reminder for Griffith residents not to leave valuables in cars following a spate of property being stolen from cars recently.
Items such as wallets and mobile phones increase the temptation of thieves to smash windows and take what is inside.
Residents are reminded to report suspicious activity to police immediately.
