There was some great racing in all the classes on the weekend as 120 karts went head-to-head in some wet conditions on the Saturday morning.
Racing started off with cadet 12s which had the biggest field of 18 karts.
Griffith’s William Garner drove very well all weekend and finished eighth.
Ky Young had some bad luck at the start of the day as he failed to finish the first two races due to engine problems.
However, he managed to turn it around and come home with a 14th in the final.
KA4 junior light saw Noah Sands step up to his new class and prove he will be a force to be reckoned with as he brought home third place.
Mikayla Boots – in the KA4 junior heavy – battled hard all weekend to come home with seventh.
KA3 senior light saw Tysen Enness driving well as he claimed third.
Ben Jones competed in the KA3 senior heavy and after some mixed results, he finished with a fourth.
The locals went up against each other in the TAG restricted light as Dean Demarco took the win over John Ross Wood in second and William Wood in third.
Tag restricted heavy was another local battle between Ben Boots, Tony Monahan and John Macey.
Boots came away with second while Monahan was fifth and Macey sixth after he blew up his engine. Anyone interested in karting can call Karts and Parts to organise a session on 0427487488.
