Griffith’s last Creet match was to be against Leeton but the Griffith team had to forfeit due to a lack of players being available.
The Griffith District Cricket Association has now implemented changes to avoid another forfeit.
“Basically what’s happened is now each of the six clubs have to provide a minimum of two players to the selection table and we select a team from there,” GDCA president Brenton Harrison said.
“Also one person from each club has to be one the selection committee.”
Three of the competition’s top 10 run-scorers will take to the field for Griffith along with three top 10 wicket-takers.
The quality of side West Wyalong puts on the paddock is unknown due to harvest preventing some players from participating.
