The decision to do Movember is always an easy one but picking which style of moustache to run with is a crucial decision.

I’ve given most of them a run in my time. Some work, some work even better!
I went with the old classic – a simple ‘stache on the top lip.
Hopefully by month’s end, the caterpillar will be flourishing but time has always been my problem.
The old facial hair takes a little bit of time to kick-start.
This will go two ways, I‘ll stay in the Michael Cera stage (see above) or get some way towards an almighty Tom Selleck ‘stache.
In no way do I think I’ll get anywhere near the holy grail that is Magnum P.I’s mo – maybe if I had three months – but I can at least try.
Trying is what I’m desperately doing in my move challenge.
After a slow start, I’ve managed to rack up a tick over 50 kilometres on my way to 200.
So, at this point I’ll fall 50 kilometres short but I’ll keep on digging in.
If I can keep up the running in the morning plus a sneaky walk at lunch, I reckon I’ll get there no dramas.
Whether I can keep up the regime is another thing altogether.
As far as my donations target goes, I’m going pretty well.
Some amazing people out there have helped me raise $195 so far.
Everything helps and if you’re willing to throw a bit of money towards the cause you can drop a donation in to The Area News office or head to http://mobro.co/benjaffrey and donate there.
