Griffith to shine bright with light
A NEW event is set to dazzle Griffith with plenty of lights and all things Christmas during the festive season.

The event, Griffith’s Got Spirit, will celebrate switching on the city’s Christmas lights in Memorial Park on November 25.
Locals are encouraged to get their lights up early and switch them on with the town’s lights.
Mayor John Dal Broi will name the best street as Santa Claus Street and there will be an award for best house.
Locals can vote for People’s Choice online with all winners announced on December 16.
Buses will travel to streets including Doolan Crescent, Holmes Crescent, Clifton Boulevarde, Ledgerwood Street and Wood Road.
