The woman in her 30s said she would not give up work but her first division win means she will be able to pursue her dream job in real estate.
The division one winning entry was bought at Wellington Point News.
“Oh my god – have I won something big?” she asked when contacted by Gold Lotto.
“You know I always knew I was going to win one day. I’ve dreamed of this moment for so long.
“You are dead-set serious aren’t you? I can’t wait to call my husband and tell him that we’re millionaires.
“Wow. I’m debt free!. I’m debt free. I’m debt free. I don’t think I’ll give up working but this win now means I’ll be able to pursue my dream job and go into real estate.”
The excited winner has chosen to remain anonymous.
Wellington Point News owner Katie Seymour said she had sold two division one winning tickets in a fortnight.
“We’ve had two division one wins in September - we’re on fire,’’ she said. “This year hasn’t finished so now I’m hoping for the hat trick. Fingers crossed we can do it again.’’
