IN Griffith’s Centenary year, Queensland academic Dr John Jiggens has called on the state government to release witness statements regarding the murder of Donald Mackay. Dr Jiggens said the murder was an important event in the history of drug policy in Australia and he hoped it would be solved. “All the witnesses are dying and they’re not releasing the statements,” Dr Jiggens said.
