The 19-year-old theatre production student is a beauty pageant queen and currently holds the title of Miss Eco Australia.
Come April she will travel to Egypt to compete in the world-wide beauty pageant Miss Eco Universe.
“This is probably the biggest achievement in my life up until this point,” Ms Guest said.
“I went to a pageant early last year and was just captivated by it all.”
Having been doing pageants for just under a year now, the Miss Eco Australia win came as a huge surprise for her.
“I was completely shocked and there was a bit of disbelief,” she said.
“I think they wanted someone from the country to represent Australia and show that side of the nation on a world stage.”
This isn’t her first rodeo either.
Last year she was asked to represent Ireland (parental heritage) at a pageant in Taiwan.
“I’m definitely nervous about Egypt but I think the Taiwan trip has taken some of that away.
“I’m more excited than anything now.”
It’s not cheap to fly to Egypt though.
She promised her parents she would hold a fundraiser to help get her there and that’s exactly what will take place this Saturday at the Darlington Point CWA hall.
“There will be a bbq lunch, there’s a runway for kids to come up on and a huge array of things to do,” she said.
