THE final site arrangements prior to Griffith’s flagship event of the centenary celebrations, the International Sculpture Symposium, were made on Monday by Australian sculptor Luke Zwolsman.

A high profile sculptor, Mr Zwolsman has been appointed to manage the symposium and will be joined by seven other master sculptors from all over the world who will carve their art into large blocks of granite representing their interpretations of ‘the meaning of water in Griffith and the city’s multicultural diversity’.
The symposium will run from the second to the eighteenth of May the public are invited visit the site to watch the sculptors as they work. Art workshops and other events will also be offered during the symposium.
