POLICE are searching for a man who allegedly broke into a home on Noorla Street in Griffith on Tuesday afternoon.

The man was one of three men who are alleged to have entered the house together at 3.50pm armed with a knife.
Griffith police Inspector Nicholas Seddon said the resident of the house managed to escape through a window and called police from a neighbour’s home.
Police attended the residence and established a crime scene.
Police arrested a 24-year-old man and a 22-year-old-man at 7.30pm in Griffith on Tuesday night.
The two men have been charged with aggravated break and enter.
Forensic police will examine the crime scene for further information as police continue to hunt for the third man involved.
On Wednesday morning a man arrived at the house to check on the welfare of his step-sister who lives at the home.
He was assured nobody was injured.
