Constable Marc Roberts, crime prevention officer for the LAC, said he was looking forward to engaging with people in the community.
“It’s about bringing personal policing back to the country and engaging with people,” Constable Roberts said.
Every Thursday during January and February, Constable Roberts will be at Yenda Friendly Grocer from 1pm to 2pm and at Barellan Friendly Grocer from 2.30pm to 3.30pm.
“I want to talk to anyone in the community concerned about criminal activities that may be occurring in the area,” Constable Roberts said.
“I moved from the city to a rural area to do exactly this kind of work.”
