This was because the second round of the Books Into Homes program came knocking.
The program sees kids choose from a range of books and receive three of their choice.
Teacher Lisa Nardi said it’s great for the kids.
“It's aimed at getting books into homes that children might not ordinary have access to,” she said.
“This is our second time and we've got kids in year three to kindergarten who are funded.
“In some cases that's nine books to a home through three children every term of the year.”
She said kids choosing their books was paramount.
“Children choosing the books that they love makes them enjoy them even more.”
