I was shocked and saddened to learn that a family arrived home from the Griffith Spring Fair to discover their family cat had been stomped to death.
I know the pain the loss of a pet can bring.
My five-year-old son was devastated when his puppy was hit by a dog.
I cannot understand how anyone can be so callous.
Let’s hope the offender is found and justice is served.
CONGRATULATIONS must go to the organisers of the Griffith Spring Fair.
It was a great event with myriad attractions on offer.
I thought there was a good mix of rides, sideshows and other attractions.
My son had a great time and his eyes lit up when the fireworks display started.
Organisers are happy with the turnout, with more than 8000 people in attendance.
They are also delighted with the support received from the business community.
The community should be applauded for supporting this important event.
It’s also great to hear the Griffith Biggest Lap was well supported.
I am always pleasantly surprised by the generosity of Griffith residents.
The community is always willing to get behind events that benefit local charities.
It’s testament to the high level of community spirit.
