Food lovers and producers alike have welcomed the start of October with open arms with the start of Taste Riverina Festival. The festival was kicked off with the launch event at the iconic Roxy Theatre in Leeton on Friday night.

The Roxy was speckled with mood lighting, French music played in the background and people from as far as Sydney came to join the fun.
Co-organiser Vanessa Pages said the real hero of the night was the venue itself.
“(It is) so wonderful to see the theatre used to its full potential – not only for entertainment,” she said.
“It was great to be able to host the launch event and (thanks) to council for all their work.”
Taste Riverina Festival runs throughout October.
