Blackwell hit 115 and shared in a 173-run partnership with Ellyse Perry (110) in the Southern Stars’ two-day match against England Academy at the weekend.
The game finished in a draw after England Academy declared at 9-279 in reply to Australia’s 7-377.
The upcoming Test is the only red ball match of the women’s Ashes, which also features three one-day internationals and three T20s.
The Southern Stars currently hold a 2-1 lead over England after winning the second and third ODIs.
Blackwell, who played her junior cricket with Exies in Griffith, has had a mixed time with the willow in the series to date.
The 31-year-old blasted 58 in the first ODI before scoring eight and 11 not out in the last two matches.
