The draw won’t affect Yoogali SC’s standing on the ladder after securing the minor premiership in round 16.
Yoogali SC locked up the minor premiership with a huge five weeks of competition left, in other words they are over 15 points in front of their nearest rivals.
With the minor premiership locked up, Yoogali SC are clear favourites to take out the premiership in September but there is a pack behind them waiting to pounce.
Three teams have secured the last three finals positions.
Four points separate the three sides and second position, which comes with a second chance in the finals, is up for grabs.
Griffith City sit in second place.
Despite their struggles in the first grade competition, Griffith City have put together one of the stronger reserve grade teams.
They are one of the teams who have pinched a point off Yoogali SC after drawing with the side in the first round of the competition.
Griffith City stayed on level points with Yoogali SC up until round seven.
Next on the ladder, two points behind Griffith City, is Hanwood FC.
Hanwood FC started the season slowly and had just 11 points after round 11 of competition.
Their season kicked into gear in round 12 where they have gone on undefeated in six games and picked up 14 competition points.
Wests are two points back from Hanwood FC but have a couple games up their sleeve.
They have the chance to leapfrog into second with a catch up game to be played and no more byes.
