The cloven-hoofed beasts were seen by tourists visiting the Hermit’s Cave on Thursday afternoon.
There are reportedly six goats in the herd now, including two kids.
Earlier this year, the goats terrorized the residents of Doolan Crescent after dark, devouring flowers and destroying gardens, resulting in a number of residents complaining to council.
A lack of water was believed to be responsible for the goats venturing into suburbia.
Residents reported up to 30 goats wandering the streets in late April.
Griffith City Council put out the call for someone to remove the horned creatures, and in mid-June musterers used horses and dogs and light vehicles to capture the goats before putting them on trucks and transporting them to an abattoir.
Whether the resurgent goats will pose a threat remains to be seen.
