Enlisted: July 22, 1940 at Paddington in NSW. His locality was listed as Griffith. He served with the 27 Brigade Company AASC,
He died on February 22, 1942. At the fall of Singapore Arch, he escaped on the night of February 15, 1942 to Sumatra. He was last seen on the 22nd at a rubber factory on Padang Road, 25 miles from Rangat. After that he was presumed dead.
