On Monday, March 9 there will be a working bee to ready the course for the Pro Am. Volunteers should gather at the work shed by 8am. There will be a sausage sizzle after work is completed and perhaps a short round of golf.
All systems are go for the Pro Am, including a worthy inclusion of a special nine-hole par-three competition for sponsors the day before.
The AGM is almost here and it’s likely that three new directors will be required.
Members are urged to attend in numbers to avoid last year’s farce when the first meeting failed to have a quorum. Times are tough, and if the club is to survive, members need to put forward ideas to lift the bottom line after the club suffered a fourth successive loss, which isn’t sustainable.
