James Roche (9) and Bohdy Martin (7) both played patient innings to retire. Taine Moraschi was in form with the ball and captured 3-6.
In reply, Watson’s batsmen scored 4-45 (ave 11.25) to fall just short.
Elsewhere in Senior Bradman, Johnson recorded a good win over Smith.
Johnson batted first and registered 3-73, with Harry Rowston (18 ret) and Ben Signor (12 ret) top scoring.
Leo Forner (1-5) and Oscar Nolan (1-3) were Smith’s best bowlers.
When it came time to bat, Smith could only muster 9-51.
Ben Signor had a field day with the ball, finishing with 4-8, while Rhys Carnell also bowled effectively to take 2-5.
In the closest game of the round, Clarke scored 5-87 (ave 17.4) to edge Warner’s effort of 6-98 (ave 16.3).
Clarke’s best with the bat were Rohan Lacey (19 ret), Jordan Whitworth (16 ret) and Tom Bartter (15 ret).
Kyle Bennett was Warner’s top bowler, taking 2-14. He then backed up that performance to hit 32 retired.
Tom Bartter (2-5) was Clarke’s standout bowler.
