A 25-YEAR-OLD man has been charged for allegedly hitting a 43-year-old man in the head with a bottle on Saturday night.

It is believed an argument began between two men at a club on Carrington Street at Darlington Point about 11.40pm.
Police will allege the older man was hit in the head with a bottle by the 25-year-old man when they left the club.
The bottle broke on impact and the older main sustained a seven centimetre cut to his forehead.
The man was taken to Griffith Base Hospital for treatment.
The younger man was arrested about 2am and taken to Griffith Police Station.
He was charged with reckless wounding and given conditional bail to appear before Griffith Local Court on Thursday, January 29.
