"I'm hoping a few more farmers will get on board this year to help Foodbank," Mr Revelant said.
In 2013/2014 Foodbank, Australia's largest food relief charity, served nearly 40 million meals in communities across the country.
Made possible with donations of food and groceries, including stock close to expiry and labelled incorrectly, the charity helps those in need with 109,000 meals per day.
"I'd like to see a continuation of support from people in Griffith," Mr Revelant said. "We're not talking about huge quantities - every little bit helps.
"Anything farmers don't need ... a couple of 100 kilograms is nothing for a big farm, but it mounts up for us."
Mr Revelant said with a new storage facility being built near Blacktown, Foodbank could soon process more produce, including fresh vegetables and fruit, in a bid to serve more people.
"If we could get a bit more grain this year, that would help a lot," he said.
As part of the charity's grain program traders and handlers are able to donate grain at silos for use in manufacturing.
Foodbank is also being called on for food assistance at times of regional disasters, such as bushfires and floods.
With the help of Foodbank more than 2500 charities Australia-wide benefit provide emergency relief in form of food to communities every year, but the need for help is much greater than what charities can accommodate.
Foodbank's Hunger Report 2014 shows that almost 60,000 Australians seeking food relief each month are unable to be assisted.
Of those receiving help, 65 per cent do not receive all they require.
Last year alone there has been an eight per cent in the number of people seeking food relief.
