A 22-year-old woman was with a group of people, when they were refused entry to a licensed premise on High Street, Hillston.
An altercation took place and it’s alleged the woman struck a 38-year-old man to the back of the head with a schooner glass. The man – who owns the pub – suffered minor injuries as a result.
Officers attended a nearby home where they arrested the woman who was taken to Hillston Police Station and later released.
She will be issued a court notice for assault occasioning actual bodily harm, to appear before Hillston Local Court on a date yet to be determined.
The pub owner did not seek medical attention for his injuries.
