Coles Griffith store manager Eliaz Housil said the store on Crossing Street had undergone a major revamp in the past eight weeks.
The aim is to offer a bigger and better product range to customers, with more than 580 new product lines introduced to the supermarket shelves.
"Especially our deli, the fruit and vegetable section and the bakery have seen major overhauls," Mr Housil said.
"From the new floor to the shelves and the equipment - everything is new.
"But the main focus is on our products.
There's a new flower stand, fresh fruit and veg on ice, Italian anti-pesto, olives, pies, a scoop-and- weigh section with nuts, seeds and dried fruit, and a new international section with a wide selection products from all over the world, including a fantastic cheese selection.
"And our bakery bakes fresh bread for 10 hours every day."
Mr Housil said he was particularly excited about the new look of the Coles store as the upgrades would reflect customer needs and feedback.
"We wanted to give our customers more convenience and more products, and just an overall better shopping experience," he said.
As part of the upgrade, customers can now also buy locally sourced food, including more than 25 different products produced in Griffith.
The expansion, which has cost about $2.5 million, will be celebrated with a big relaunch party at the Coles supermarket today, from 10am today.
