The 40-plus local performers at the annual Yummingroove took more than 700 guests over two nights at the Yoogali Club on a musical journey paying homage to the unmistakable sounds of down under.
Organiser Rob Fattore said Griffith should be proud of the performers who make up this "amazingly gifted" community.
"As the organiser of this event I was very proud of what our little city has to offer," he said.
"As most of the performers know, you will never get anywhere in this industry without hard work.
"We did do plenty of rehearsal over a six-month period. I thank all of who supported Yummingroove by bringing work teams, families and friends.
"Next year's theme will be the British and Irish invasion and we promise to step it up again."
Patrons were welcomed by Jarrod Bianachni in the foyer playing Aussie tunes on saxophone.
"Then rising stars Michael, Lara and Francesca showed off the young talent we have in our town," Mr Fattore said.
"The MDS performed big numbers from Kylie and Vanessa Amorosi with Laura Panarello singing both beautifully, it was top shelf."
The colourful and highly successful Yumming-roove event, which was held on December 20 and 21, also featured a fashion parade by MDM and Meadow Lane, while rock band Jelly Shots got the night rocking with Choirboys, followed by big hits from Baby Animals, Divinyls, Icehouse, and Angels just to name a few.
Mr Fattore said a highlight of the night was the huge AC/DC medley which started with Thunderstruck.
