Police have released images of a man wanted over the robbery of a skateboarder, who suffered serious head injuries when he was struck over the head with his own board in Sydney.

The 21-year-old skateboarder was knocked unconscious in the assault on Oxford Street in Darlinghurst in December.
Police on Wednesday released CCTV images of a man they would like to question over the assault, which occurred about 5.20am on December 7.
The skateboarder told police he was walking west along Oxford Street, near Liverpool Street, when he was approached by a man who struck up a conversation with him.
But the man soon turned on him, stealing his skateboard and striking him over the head with it.
The skateboarder was fell to the ground and was knocked unconscious, while his attacker fled with the skateboard. He was last seen getting into a nearby taxi.
The injured man was treated by paramedics and taken to St Vincent's Hospital where he was treated for serious head injuries.
The man in the CCTV images was about 193 centimetres tall with a solid or large build and a shaved head. At the time he was wearing a light blue long-sleeved shirt, light pants and white and black shoes.
