The search is over for Leagues after they were able to pick up their first win of the season after seeing off a weakened Diggers outfit in the 50-over fixture.

The Diggers side won the toss and elected to bat and were able to make a solid start with Michael Duncan and Rocky Perre at the top of the order.
The opening pair were able to put on 36 runs in the opening five overs before Ben Rowston (1/26) picked up the wicket of Perre (16).
Stand-in captain Angus Boulton (1) followed closely behind when he was dismissed by Tom Greenaway before Daniel Bozic picked up the wicket of Shayan Khan (4).
Duncan and Josh Lanham tried to get their side moving in the right direction before Leagues captain Jimmy Binks (2/18) removed Lanham (6) and Ben Fattore (0) in successive delivery, and while the hat-trick ball was negotiated, Diggers lost Reece Maguire (3) to the bowling of Bozic (2/18)
Duncan was able to post his fifty and push his side past the 100-mark before he was caught off the bowling of Noah Gaske (2/17), with Meli Ranitu (0) following closely behind.
Kyle Bennett (6) added some late runs before Greenaway (3/32) cleaned up the tail to see Diggers bowled out for 111.

Jack Rowston and Michael Cudmore put on 16 runs for the first wicket before Rowston (4) fell to Khan.
Cudmore (12) and Noah Gaske (8) departed soon after before the Leagues middle order pushed their side towards success.
Binks (18) was able to make a start before he fell to the bowling of Lanham (2/25) before Mark Burns (0) and Ben Rowston (0) both fell without troubling the scorers to Kyle Bennett (1/21) and Maguire (2/17) respectively.
Ryan Greenaway and Bozic were able to set their side up for success with some quick run-scoring before Bozic (20) fell to Khan (2/25).
The wicket didn't slow the Panthers momentum as Greenaway (33*) and Logan Matheson (4*) were able to guide their side to a three-wicket win with 19 overs remaining.
The bonus-point win for the Panthers sees them close the gap to fourth-placed Exies Eagles to just three points.
