Both second-grade games played on Saturday were moved to Jubilee after heavy rainfall meant the games were moved to synthetic.
Diggers won the toss and elected to bat but were under pressure when Anas Zindani (0) fell to the bowling of Shaun Iddles (1/47).
Jay Mitchell and Mark Favell were able to get their side moving before Avinash Gurram (1/25) picked up the wicket of Mitchell (20) while Krish Chaudhary (2) was caught off the bowling of Cooper Smith (1/21).
Favell was joined by Ben Fattore, and the pair were able to push their side towards a competitive total with a 74-run stand for the fourth wicket before James Clarke (1/41) removed Favell (29).
That would be the last of the success with the ball as both Fattore (124*) and Damien Browning (103*) both posted centuries in a mammoth 183-run partnership which saw Diggers finish their 40 overs on 4/300.
It was always going to be tough going for the Nomads, and it proved to be just that with Michael Hodgson (27) the only batter to make a start at the top of the order.
