The crew turned out at 11:57am to the property, finding a working fire in the centre of the vacant building. The building was extinguished quickly and crews returned within an hour.
Captain Danielle McKay from Fire and Rescue said that the responding crew had identified what appeared to be a wheelie bin alight inside the house.
The fire is the latest of many that's plagued the area, coming a month after the most recent fire on Heath Crescent. It's not yet known whether this fire is linked to any of last year's incidents.
Police are currently investigating the cause of the blaze.
