Currently, the church uses personal vehicles to transport workers from their accommodation to work locations and hopes that the event will close the remaining $25,000 of their fundraising goal of $50,000.
Starting from 10am at Griffith Showgrounds Woodside Hall, traditional foods, dances, music and more will be on display for not just the islander community but for those who would like to experience something new and make a donation to the fundraiser.
Dana Mamafaimoa has been leading the fundraising efforts alongside her husband and said that the fundraiser was another means of supporting workers from the pacific islands as they arrived in Griffith under the PLS.
"We currently don't have any transport to get these workers around which is why we need a bus," Mrs Mamafaimoa said
"The church is feeling hopeful that we will reach our fundraising goal, it would be good for Christmas."

The fundraiser was originally scheduled to be held in October but had to be rescheduled due to ongoing coronavirus concerns.
Moape Sigamisucuvimaka from the Methodist Church of Fiji said that the event was also an end of year celebration for the Griffith Pacific Islander community.
"This event will be a good way to bring together the Pacific Islander community, we are looking for this to be the biggest event of the year," Mr Sigamisucuvimaka said.
"Come see our traditions and have a taste of the Pacific Islands."
