Six models showcased the latest styles and accessories to a sell-out crowd, but it wasn't just about fashion.

The event saw the launch of a new fundraiser to support Griffith's Can Assist branch.

Five unique cards designed by artist Lisa Taliano were launched. Each card is $5 with the proceeds going directly to Can Assist.

Kendells store manager Tracey Pisan brought the idea to Griffith from Cootamundra where a similar fundraiser is run.

The cards are blank inside and can be used for Christmas, birthdays or any other occasion.

"Janet Lane has graciously allowed us to use her business to help promote this fundraiser and sell the cards in the store," Mrs Pisan said.

She said it was hoped the cards would take off and become a continuing source of support for Can Assist.

Green Gecko Art Studio's Lisa Taliano said the art came with deep meaning with a focus on healing and regeneration following her own journey being treated for cancer.

Mrs Taliano said loved to collaborate in art, as she did with one of the designs with Di Tarr, and was more than happy to help Griffith's Can Assist branch.

"Can Assist do amazing work for people who are being treated for cancer," Mrs Taliano said.

"It's been a difficult time for charities to raise money but they're still being asked to help out."

Dobija Print World has produced the cards at no charge to Can Assist.

Long-serving Can Assist volunteer Olga Forner said the Griffith branch appreciated the effort, and the support.

"A huge thank you to Janet and Tracey from Kendells, Lisa from Green Gecko and Dobija Print World who have produced these wonderful cards for all to enjoy," Mrs Forner said.

The cards are available for $5 each from Kendells at Banna Avenue.
