The wet weather a couple of weeks ago forced the Sunday event to be postponed at the last minute.
Despite the changing of the date, Griffith Tennis Club's Daniel Dossetor said numbers were on par with what they were expecting.
"With the weather around, we just had to make the best of what we could," he said.
"We had held it on Friday nights in the past, so numbers were still pretty good."
It was another success on court for Dossetor, who was able to take out the A Grade Men's singles title in a final that pitted master against apprentice.
Dossetor faced off against Ben Mahlknecht, who he had coached during his junior years.
"I think he was a bit nervous heading into the final," he said.
"It was his first time in the A Grade final and taking on his coach as well. I think I was in his head a little bit."
Mahlknecht saw off some stiff competition on his way to the final in Lachlan Date and Jack Johnson but come the final, Dossetor was able to take out his fifth title in a row and his seventh since the turn of the millennium.
