While the downpour was less than last week, it was still enough to see all games in Griffith abandoned without a ball being bowled on Saturday.
With one eye on a busy month, the first and second-grade games to be played at Exies were among the first to fall, while the top of the table second grade Twenty20 between Leagues and Hanwood at Collina followed soon after.
The game that got closest to start was Hanwood and Coro at Hanwood Oval; however, after giving the pitch a chance to dry out, the drizzle was hanging around, meaning it would be almost impossible to get a pitch prepared before the cutoff time of 3.30pm.

The drizzle throughout the day and night on Saturday was also enough to see the Don Coleman Shield Twenty20 games postponed until a date after Christmas, which will be determined at a later date by the GDCA board.
The predictions for next week aren't looking promising for action returning next weekend. The forecast is pointing to a 90 per cent chance of 10-20mm on both Tuesday and Wednesday and then a 70 per cent chance of 10-20mm on Thursday, which would put the weekend under threat yet again.
