The annual Pink Up Your Town fundraiser runs through October, which is breast cancer awareness month and supports McGrath Foundation nurses across the nation.
Efforts to organise the annual fundraiser are driven by Jessica Zandona, Alivia Irvine, Jennifer Ziliotto, Karan Kamboj and Tony Santolin from Griffith Real Estate.
Ms Zandona said it was an important cause to support and while it could take a bit of time to organise each year, she paid tribute to her colleagues at GRE which got behind Pink Up Griffith fully from wearing pink each Friday to changing their marketing materials for the month.
Ms Zandona said the money would support Griffith's Fiona Shields who is the area's McGrath Foundation nurse.
"Mrs Shields goes with patients to appointments, provides support and helps the patient and their family understand," Ms Zandona said.
"It can have a big impact on a family.
"We appreciate the support of the tradesmen and businesses who got behind Pink Up Griffith this year, and we look forward to 2022."

While the community generously opened their wallets, the support was more than monetary.
"People and tradies all got on board, they had their kids dressed in pink hi-vis and stickers on their backs of their trucks," she said.
"There was a year 9 student, Cameron, from Murrumbidgee Regional High who planted pink flowers and then delivered the flowers to the oncology unit at Griffith Base Hospital."
Ms Zandona said they were great displays of support which reminded people they weren't going through their struggle alone.
She said one of the key messages is always about getting checked.
"Catching it early makes a world difference and it's important people get the checks they need," she said.
It's estimated the community has raised $165,000 in five years of Pink Up Griffith.
