The annual event has been previously held in September or October but was put on the backburner last year due to ongoing COVID-19 rules and restrictions.

Reverand Gemma Le Mesurier said she was 'excited' to host the fair once more.

"It will be lovely to have the community come and down and just enjoy the space together," Reverand Le Mesurier said.

"There will be cakes, biscuits, jams and produce, coffee and, trash and treasure a barbecue and more on offer."

Attendees will also be able to enjoy live music and partake in a raffle with over 30 different prizes on offer.

"Our first prize is 200 dollars and then we have a number of hampers full of things like groceries, gingerbread houses and toys for children," Reverend Le Mesurier said.

Rail hail or shine the event will go ahead, with a wet weather plan in place to move from the church grounds to inside the cathedral and church hall.

Reverend Le Mesurier said she was especially excited for the book sale.

"I have been busy collecting books these past few months for the sale as I am a big bibliophile so I am hopeful that there are people in the community who love books just as much as I do," Reverend Le Mesurier said.

The church is located on the corner of Anzac and Binya Street, diagonal to little Woolworths.

"It's just a great way to connect with the community and get out of the house," Reverend Le Mesurier said.

"There's still time to get involved, just reach out!"
