The book, titled 'Our Story: Sowing the Seeds from Generation to Generation' includes the story of each Catholic school in the diocese, filled with both old and new photographs and the history of each location and its early founders.
Bishop Mark Edwards officially launched the book on last week as the bicentenary of Catholic education in Australia was celebrated with a Mass in St Michael's Cathedral.

He said the book aims to show people "where we come from [so] we're able to be proud of it, and that we live with confidence today and also with enthusiasm for the future."
"To be able to capture some of that [sense of community and belonging] and be able to pass it on to the next generation is really great," he added.
The idea was first sparked by Elizabeth O'Carrigan, director of Catholic education in Wagga, and the book can be purchased through the Catholic Education office.
