Starting at the age of 18 in 1977, Mrs Wynne has taught, played with and supported thousands of children as they have transitioned into preschool and then again into primary school.
She is also the longest serving employee at the Preschool by almost 15 years.
According to Mrs Wynne, early childhood education was a 'pure joy'.
"I found my niche 44 years ago and haven't felt the need to move on," Mrs Wynne said.
"It's a pure joy to do, every day when I come in it's different again and the smiles and laughter of the children always makes my day."
Both of Mrs Wynnes children have gone through the preschool, with six of her seven grandchildren also going through the centre.
"My goal is to keep working until all of my grandchildren have come through the preschool," Mrs Wynne said.
"My youngest grandchild will be three next year so I am very excited to have them here with me."

Director of Griffith Preschool Kindergarten Heather Gowing called Mrs Wynne an 'absolute treasure' to have on the staff.
"Maxine is full of knowledge and experience," Mrs Gowing said.
"She has such a kind heart and is a real asset to the team.
"The children love her and the staff love her."
Mrs Wynne said it was lovely to see parents who she taught as children send their children to the centre and to see the generations of children coming through.
"It's lovely to see the generations of children coming through, the preschool will soon see enrollments for the grandchildren of children I once taught which is very special," Mrs Wynne said.
"The preschool has always been my constant, I have worked here longer than anything in my life.
"It just feels like home."
Congratulations Maxine on reaching this milestone!
