According to the gallery, the theme of the exhibition is loosely based around objects, items and commodities that could be seen as 'desirable', especially as the festive season fast approaches.
Submissions of jewelry, clothes, furniture, candles, leatherworks and more are all encouraged to be submitted.
Griffith Regional Art Gallery Coordinator Raymond Wholohan said 'Objects of Desire' aimed to highlight the tradition of purchasing desirable gifts for family, friends and loved ones during the lead up to Christmas and the holiday session.
"The gallery is currently looking for local makers to submit handmade objects into the upcoming exhibition as we look locally for gifts this festive session," Mr Wholohan said.

"We are hoping that some of our creative community have some amazing objects of desire to showcase in this popular exhibition.
"Griffith has a large market of people looking to source locally made artisan gifts created by our region's many talented crafts people."
Following on from the success of previous years' events, the gallery will also be hosting a dedicated 'Sip and Spend' event on December 2 to promote sales of objects entered into the exhibition.
Entry for the exhibition is $5 per body of work.
More information about how to enter an object and for terms and conditions please visit the Gallery in person or online.
