Slim Cavanaugh fired 79 off the stick to take out A Grade with 38 points. He carded a consistent 19 points on each nine with ten pars.
Runner-up Mark Townsend 37 points, proved you should never give up, after a slipshod front nine which saw him card 14 points, finding his form on the back nine to come home in one under par 34, nailing a birdie on the 15th to card 23 points, on a countback over Martin Sweeney.
Patrick Payne 40 points won B Grade to continue his climb up the ladder. He scored 19 points out and 21 home, draining a birdie on the 10th.
Trent McFadzean 38 points runner-up, failing to capitalise on a 21 point front nine, slipping to 17 in, carding a birdie on the 15th.
Hot scores in C Grade, Brett Crooks 43 points taking the win, 20 points out and 23 home with eight pars. One back on 42 points was Luke McCann, starting with a bang, a four-point par on the first, added another on the 12th, but misses on the 13th and 15th cost him a higher finish.
With the Veteran's Week of Golf due to commence on Monday, a reduced field of 41 players contested a medley single stableford last Sunday.
The Tongan connection of Taola Toru and Tuitu Phillip dominated A Grade. Toru took the win on 39 points to Phillip's 38 points.
Patrick Payne made it a double for the weekend, again taking out B Grade with a handicap breaking 43 points. Kieren Elvy runner-up on 39 points.
Patrick McNamara 36 points won C Grade ahead of Skeet Milne 35 points.

Registrations are now open for the Corporate Cup. The event will be held on Friday, November 12. Only a number of teams can participate on a first paid basis.

The McNabb Mobil 5's had a successful week with some 280 cards returned last week. Entries are still being taken.
The Annual Griffith Open will be held on Sunday, November 7, an 18 Holes Stroke with a 10am shotgun start.

The veterans played a 4 BBB Stableford last Thursday with 30 players.
Bill Carter combined with Ken Alpen for a win on 45 points on a countback over Roy Calabria and Don Catanzariti 45 points. In third place Jim Dickie and Skeet Milne 44 points on a countback over Bob Trembath and Allan King and Bob Trembath and Ray Mead 44 points.
Skeet Milne won both the 7th and 11th pin. John F.Gale 16th.
The Veteran's Week of Golf kicked off last Monday and will continue until Friday. Over 130 players will tee off each day with around 100 visiting veterans.
A strong field of 48 players contested last Wednesday's single Stableford.
Sim Tuitivaki 38 points won A Grade on a countback over Brian Savage 38 points on a countback over Fusi Fidow 38 points.
John Badoco 39 points best in B Grade, Patty Payne 37 points second on a countback over Tony DeMarco 37 points.
Garry Purcell 34 points won C Grade on a countback over Byron James on a countback over Peter Den Houting.
